Identity for a no-profit social architectural group initiative aimed to the establishment of a district contract. The association, composed of some students and a professional architect, wants to involve the citizens to reach their goal. The association doesn't exist if there isn't the participation of the citizens to the proposal of new ideas to improve the city. The logo is based on the same simple idea. It is a logo that cannot exist if there isn't the participation in the completion of the logo. This action represents a metaphor of the concept. The other materials are designed on the same concept using the flexibility offered by this kind of logo.
The consonants are the architects who technically work behind the architectural stuff with concrete masterplans and projects. Typographically, with the only use of the consonants we are often able to understand the words but there is something missing. In the same way the architects can work on the projects but the association doesn't exist if there isn't the participation of the citizens with their ideas and suggestions. The vowels are the citizens. Typographically, the wovels are those parts that are fundamental to complete the words. We need them to fully comprehend the words, as well as the association need citizens to exist and achieve their goal.
The identification cards are designed on the same concept of the logo. They are given to all the citizens who decide to contribute to the project with their ideas, participating to meetings between the architects and the citizens. The particular composition of the logotype allows the citizen/ architect to write GIOVANE ARCHITETTO (Young architect, singular) instead of GIOVANI ARCHITETTI (Young Architects, plural), followed by the citizen's name directly on the front and the other information on the back, keeping the identity intact and unchanged.
